Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an experienced Store/Assistant Store Manager in the United States (New York area) to oversee daily operations, supervise Associates, and uphold company standards.

The role requires leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage payroll and scheduling while maintaining exceptional customer service. In this position you will lead by example, train and develop non‑exempt staff, and ensure compliance with safety and loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all non‑exempt Associates.
• Lead in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure operations meet company standards.
• Ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
• Assist in scheduling and payroll related tasks.
