Englefield Retail in Columbus is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Duchess location at Polaris Fashion Mall. You will support store operations, manage staff, oversee inventory, and provide shift leadership to ensure excellent guest experience.

You will coach team members, maintain cleanliness and safety, step in for the Store Manager, build relationships with customers and vendors, and help drive performance while complying with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail or food service.
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and basic store systems.
• ServeSafe certification – Required or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Support store operations including staffing, inventory, and shift leadership
• Coach and train team members to deliver friendly, efficient service
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and customer-ready
• Lead when the Store Manager is away to drive performance goals and maintain compliance standards
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and the team
• Mitigate physical requirements such as walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching in variable conditions
