Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales growth, control expenses and ensure customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will develop store personnel and uphold ALDI values in daily activities.

You will lead teams, manage schedules, train staff, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining high merchandising and safety standards across the store in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns with the store manager.
• Communicate responsibilities and performance expectations to staff; lead and develop personnel.
• Assist the store manager with action plans to improve operating results and development.
• Lead interviews and provide hiring recommendations to the store manager.
• Inform the store manager of team developments and concerns in a timely manner.
• Interact with ALDI employees, customers, vendors and partners.
