Job summary

Total Wine & More in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and driving a sales-focused culture. You will support operations, payroll, inventory and staff development while upholding compliance and exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires 1-3 years in retail with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, strong leadership and product knowledge, and the ability to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience in retail.
• 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in a retail setting.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training and leading store team with development of product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations: payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
