Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Store Merchandiser in Shreveport, LA. The role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, and supporting online orders while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking merchandise, and participating in wine, spirits, and beer training. The position requires lifting, standing for long periods, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.
• Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory and support online business operations.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience to customers.
• Build product knowledge through training in wine, spirits, and beer.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely if delivery is a required function.
