Job summary

Goodwill Omaha in Elkhorn, NE is seeking a Lead Retail Store Generalist to assist store management in training and motivating staff, ensuring safety standards, and safeguarding assets.

You will greet customers, manage cash, open/close the store, and act as Manager on Duty while supporting mission-related programs and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Three months retail experience required.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred; to include scheduling and task delegation.

Responsibilities

• Assist store management in training and motivating staff.
• Greet customers and donors and issue receipts.
• Open/close store following procedures.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Manage daily cash handling and deposits.
• Oversee inventory of new and used goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Support mission-related programs and volunteers.
