Job summary

This full-time role offers a starting wage of $27.50 per hour with a planned increase to $28.50 in year 2, and average 38 hours per week. Benefits are included for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Ability to lead others and deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication with direct reports.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses.

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identifies training opportunities to improve performance.

• Monitors the community environment and suggests adjustments to stay competitive.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage.
• Assists with stock levels and product ordering to maximize sales.
• Supervises day-to-day team operations and escalates issues as needed.
