Job summary

GESMV is seeking a dedicated retail supervisor to oversee store operations in Lebanon, OH. You will manage cash handling, banking tasks, and ensure accuracy at the register while supporting budgeted sales and efficient store procedures.

You will supervise staff, maintain merchandising standards, handle inventory, and coordinate merchandise orders and transportation. A flexible schedule and professional appearance are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise and train store employees and volunteers.
• Experience with cash handling and banking procedures.
• Knowledge of merchandising and display standards.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager with managing budgeted sales and expenses to revenue (E/R).
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently, proper handling of cash, checks, receipts, returns, discounts, and credit cards.
• Perform banking procedures, including reconciliation of Daily Business Statements and deposits.
• Train and supervise store employees in retail procedures.
• Display and model excellent customer service.
• Ensure store is maintained in accordance with company policies on housekeeping, safety and security.
• Perform stocking, display, and inventory duties.
• Process merchandise orders and coordinate transportation.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• Follow the dress code and maintain professional appearance.
• Support empowerment and continuous improvement culture; encourage decisions that grow the business.

• Provide own transportation and adequate liability insurance.
• Maintain ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
