Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Hesperia seeks an Assistant Store Manager for the ARC thrift store. You will partner with the Store Manager to run daily operations, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer and donor service.

This role supports community programs, requires at least 2 years in retail leadership, a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background checks. We offer career growth, benefits, and recognition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate POS/cash register accurately.
• Valid driver's license and insurance proof required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager in day‑to‑day store operations.
• Handle day‑to‑day operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and develop store employees.
• Maintain excellent customer/donor relations and resolve complaints.
• Communicate personnel issues with Management and HR.
• Maintain ARC Merchandising Standards and inventory levels.
• Oversee BRP and ensure daily processing goals.
• Safeguard cash and banking per ARC policy.
• Support safety measures in coordination with management.
