Job summary

Englefield, Inc. in Columbus, NE seeks a Store Leader to support operations, staff, inventory, and shifts when the Store Manager is away.

You will coach team members to deliver friendly, efficient service and keep the store clean, safe, and customer-ready. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ year of leadership in retail or food service, scheduling and inventory proficiency, POS familiarity, and ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year leadership experience in retail or food service.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Familiar with scheduling, inventory, and basic store systems.
• ServeSafe certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support store operations including staffing, inventory, and shift leadership
• Coach and train team members to deliver friendly, efficient service
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and customer-ready
• Step in to lead when the Store Manager is away to help drive performance goals and maintain compliance standards
• Build relationships with customers, vendors, and your team
• Other qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
