Job summary

ROSS DRESS FOR LESS in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and lead a team of associates. You will learn all phases of store operations and partner with the Store Manager to achieve company standards.

You will supervise schedules, analyze reports, uphold safety and loss prevention, and drive merchandising execution. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity.
• Assists in analyzing Store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and performance.
• Communicates variances to Store Manager to ensure alignment with standards.
• Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.
• Maintains safety, loss prevention, and compliance with regulations.
• Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates.
