Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to provide excellent customer service, assist customers with merchandise, and complete sales using the POS system. The role includes stocking, inventory support, and daily store maintenance.

The position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, with responsibilities that include assisting the Store Manager and maintaining store cleanliness and appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs (up to 55 lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; resolve inquiries and concerns.
• Process sales transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store and assist in deliveries and replenishment.
• Open or close the store in absence of managers and oversee store operations.
• Support asset protection and uphold company policies.
