Job summary

Family Dollar in Calhoun City, Mississippi is seeking a part-time team member to deliver exceptional customer service and assist with daily store operations. You will greet customers, process sales at the POS, maintain inventory, and support deliveries and replenishment to keep shelves stocked.

In absence of store leadership, you may open/close the store and oversee cash handling, ensuring compliance with company policies while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/management experience preferred.
• Ability to learn store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and greet with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Open or close the store in the absence of managers and ensure store readiness.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy and organize stock.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Support deliveries and replenishment and keep shelves stocked.
• Ensure store cleanliness and a welcoming appearance.
• Guide team members on operating practices and procedures.
