Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will help run the store, hire and train staff, and motivate a team toward excellent customer and donor service. You’ll lead meetings, supervise operations, and ensure displays and merchandising are top quality.

The role includes meeting budget targets and proper cash handling. Ongoing training is provided; opportunities for internal transfer may arise as you progress.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience operating personal computers and POS systems; familiarity with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics; plus 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in running the store, including hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings, ensure customer and donor satisfaction, maintain displays and merchandising presentations.
• Drive store toward meeting or exceeding budgeted financial performance; ensure cash handling per policy.
