Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Retail Assistant Store Manager for the Kennesaw Store. You will assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating, and supervising staff, and you’ll lead meetings to meet customer and donor satisfaction.

You’ll maintain displays, manage merchandising, and ensure cash handling per policy while driving the store toward its budgeted financial performance. This role requires strong communication and leaderships skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience supervising 15+ employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail, or 1 year supervision with Goodwill training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or Economics plus 1 year supervisory experience in logistics/retail/warehouse or related industry.
• 4+ years of military service with supervisory experience in lieu of other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings and help store meet customer and donor satisfaction standards.
• Maintain displays and merchandising presentations; ensure cash handling per policy.
