Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Hiram store to lead and supervise staff, train new hires, and uphold donor and customer standards.

You will manage displays, merchandising, and cash handling per policy, while partnering with the Store Manager to drive toward budgeted financial performance. Ongoing training is provided, with potential transfers to other stores as you progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in supervision of 15 or more employees in food services, manufacturing, production or retail. Alternatively, one year of supervision experience with successful completion of Goodwill assigned training

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings and help the store meet its customer and donor satisfaction standards.
• Maintain displays and merchandising presentations and manage cash per policy.
• Drive the store toward meeting or exceeding budgeted financial performance.
• Ongoing training is provided; potential transfers to other stores as you progress.
