Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team, drive donor and customer satisfaction, and maintain store presentation. You will collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring, training, and supervising staff, while ensuring policy compliance and budget targets.

You’ll engage with customers and donors, motivate employees, and manage daily operations to support community-facing programs. This role offers ongoing training and a path for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervising 15+ employees in retail or related fields or completed Goodwill training.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year supervisory experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, fast food, or related industry.
• 4+ years of military service with supervisory experience in lieu of the above.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff.
• Lead meetings, ensure customer and donor satisfaction, maintain displays and merchandising.
• Drive cash handling per policy and help meet budgeted financial performance.
