Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise store personnel during shifts, and serve as key holder on duty, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

You will develop and coach team members, greet donors and customers, resolve complaints, maintain store appearance, and coordinate with management on reports and meetings. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of experience in retail.
• Associates Degree or completion of related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must start employment in acceptable safety work shoes.
• Able to meet physical requirements to perform duties including bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure operational standards are met.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder/team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth within the organization.
• Comply with agency policies and SOPs and safety and security policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers; ensure customer needs are met and service is efficient and effective.
• Assist and resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations.
• Monitor and maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Perform and assist in all functions completed by store personnel.
• Support in maintaining all company records and reports accurately and timely.
• Attend meetings and training as required by the agency.
• Transfer to any Goodwill of North Georgia store within the territory as needed.
