Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Communicates core values and team objectives to create teamwork.
• Monitors competitive environment and informs leadership of adjustments.
• Provides product feedback and recommendations on stock.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control.
• Resolves customer concerns in the leader's absence.
• Maintains store cleanliness and signage.
• Maintains stock levels through ordering and merchandising.
• Ensures quality and freshness of products and signage.
• Assists with payroll and shrink budgets, and training.
