Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the direct leader in supervising daily store activities and achieving overall store performance. You will help with scheduling, training opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer service while upholding company standards.

Responsibilities include implementing action plans, merchandising, and maintaining inventory controls, along with participating in hiring and coaching of team members to drive sales and effective store operations.

• Assists with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.

• Provides product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage.
• Maintains stock levels and merchandise presentation.
• Aids in payroll and budget tracking, and training new employees.
