ALDI, INC. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day store operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and develop actionable plans to improve performance.

You will help identify training opportunities, uphold company standards, ensure product quality and signage, and contribute to payroll and loss prevention efforts. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and teamwork within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
• Prior management experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
• Models company values to foster teamwork and engagement
• Monitors local market conditions and informs leadership of adjustments to maintain competitiveness
• Provides product feedback and recommends new items or discontinue items
• Participates in interviewing store personnel
• Communicates weekly information, milestones, and concerns
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed
• Resolves customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader
• Identifies hazards and maintains equipment and store cleanliness
• Maintains stock levels and proper product signage
• Contributes to payroll, shrink control, and training of new employees
• Supervises daily team operations and escalates issues as needed
• Ensures timely completion of assigned responsibilities to deliver customer service excellence
• Complies with company policies and protects data integrity
• Performs other duties as assigned
