Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager in daily operations while upholding company policies. Since 1933, Global Partners has focused on customers, communities, and people, with a Fortune 500 background guiding its growth and standards.

The ASM will supervise and develop hourly staff, manage cash and inventory, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and store readiness.

Qualifications

1-2 years supervisory experience.
Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
Basic computer skills for daily tasks.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages.
Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and related duties per cash-control policies.
Manage cash deposits and change orders.
Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
Ensure store safety and report issues to management.
Coordinate gasoline deliveries and support promotional initiatives.
Promote guest service and fulfill duties per company policies.
