Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Operations to drive efficient store operations, inventory control, and back‑of‑house excellence. You’ll manage workload, scheduling, and training while partnering with leadership to uphold standards and ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will analyze performance metrics, mentor associates, and lead in-store initiatives, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A strong team culture and customer focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Leader to manage workload and ensure execution of plans across store.
• Align with management on store goals and communicate them to all associates.
• Establish and communicate critical metrics and expectations within the store.
• Analyze reporting to inform sales, productivity and budget for higher levels.
• Promote sales and act as Leader on Duty when required.
• Communicate with management about sales, customer feedback, and associate training.
• Foster teamwork and ensure safe, efficient operations among all associates.
• Coach and develop associates to build bench strength.
