Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager with day-to-day store operations. The ASM will help supervise hourly staff, manage cash handling and inventory, and ensure compliance with policies.

The role requires flexible hours, supervisory experience, and the ability to work unsupervised. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience required.
• Ability to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and access all areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, train and discipline hourly employees while upholding operational standards.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; assist investigations within defined thresholds.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other admin duties per cash control policies.
• Manage bank deposits and change orders; ensure store image standards are met.
