Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a Store Manager in Greenville, SC. You will lead a team to deliver a WOW customer experience, train crew, and manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of management experience. You will drive sales, control expenses, and partner with leadership on merchandising and process improvements in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure items are quickly positioned on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing of the store, including securing cash, doors, alarms, and setup for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance such as trash removal, cleaning, and stock room upkeep.
