Job summary

Five Below in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations and deliver WOW customer service. You will train crew, oversee stock, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while controlling expenses and boosting sales.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers. Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing processes, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms for daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as trash, sweeping, bathrooms, and stock room.
