Job summary

Five Below in West Columbia, SC is seeking an on-site crew supervisor to lead daily store operations and deliver WOW customer service. You will open/close, train associates, manage merchandise, and collaborate with the leadership team to boost sales while controlling expenses.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring fast checkout, maintaining stock, and upholding policies. This role requires flexible scheduling and a focus on guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring duties are performed effectively and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance such as cleaning, stock room upkeep, and waste management.
