Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support store operations, merchandise donations, and ongoing production in assigned departments. You will work with the Store Team Leader to drive safety, sales, and program standards while guiding a team of staff and volunteers.

You will train employees, monitor displays and cash handling, and help plan scheduling to meet daily production goals. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and alignment with Goodwill’s mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year retail experience with at least six months supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages production and merchandising of assigned departments.
• Consistently meets or exceeds daily, weekly, and monthly production goals for assigned operation.
• Develops efficiencies or continuous improvements in coordination with Store Team Leader.
• Motivates team members to achieve goals.
• Trains new employees within operation on processes and procedures.
• Balances cash and deposits store receipts as required.
