Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking an Assistant Team Leader in Canandaigua, NY. You will support the Store Team Leader in processing donations and merchandising new merchandise while leading a team to meet production goals.

You’ll train staff, monitor operations, and ensure safety, security, and excellent customer service. This role requires supervisory retail experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year retail experience with at least 6 months supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and write routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store team members, volunteers, and community service personnel.
• Manage production and merchandising for assigned departments.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly production goals.
• Train new employees and coordinate schedules with Store Team Leader.
• Maintain store safety, security, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with cash handling, deposits, and daily reports.
