Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the Store Team Leader and manage donations processing, merchandising, and daily store operations. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of retail experience with six months of supervisory experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Availability includes evenings and weekends. The Assistant Team Leader will supervise team members, assist with scheduling, ensure safety standards,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year retail experience with at least six months supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage production and merchandising of assigned departments.
• Lead as Leader on Duty to ensure safety, sales, production and standards.
• Train new employees and coordinate training/retraining as needed.
• Monitor merchandise levels and adjust production goals and pull process.
• Assist with scheduling input and record hours worked for the operation.
• Develop displays in coordination with Store Team Leader and maintain fixtures.
• Ensure security of company assets and safe work practices.
