Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Store Associate to support store operations across donation receiving, production, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service. You will be cross-trained to assist in multiple areas to help donations and merchandise move smoothly from donation door to sales floor.

The role emphasizes excellent customer and donor service, accurate pricing, tagging, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in alignment with our mission and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail, customer service or related work experience preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and donor service at the store.
• Sort, price, tag, stock, and sell merchandise.
• Assist with donation receiving and processing across departments.
• Record sales using the POS system and handle cash accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe store environment and follow safety procedures.
• Work cooperatively with the store team and rotate through multiple areas as needed.
