Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Store Associate to support donation receiving, production, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service in our retail store. The role is cross-trained to work in multiple areas to ensure donations and merchandise move efficiently from the donation door through processing and onto the sales floor.

The Store Associate will deliver excellent customer and donor service, accurately sort, price, tag, stock, and sell merchandise, and keep the store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail, customer service, production, warehouse or related work is helpful but not required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and donors with locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Process donations, stock, price, tag, and display merchandise as directed.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash accurately and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment and participate in cross-training across departments.
