Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma, Moore, Oklahoma, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations of donated merchandise, manage budgets, and supervise Shift Leaders and Store Associates.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, policy compliance, and teamwork to meet agency standards and budgets while developing staff and ensuring safety and quality in the store environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Associate’s degree or related retail management course work preferred.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in retail or related fields and/or completed Goodwill training.
• Must be 21 years old with valid OK driver's license and insurance verification.
• Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to read/write English and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget and control expenditures to meet goals.
• Hire, train, evaluate, motivate, and supervise staff.
• Provide excellent donor/customer service and safety compliance.
• Open/close cash registers and balance cash drawers.
• Lead monthly team meetings and maintain daily records.
• Ensure store appearance, cleanliness, and proper displays.
