Job summary

Five Below is seeking an engaged store team member to support daily operations and deliver a WOW customer experience in Grandville, MI. This hourly role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a friendly, fast-paced environment.

You will assist with opening/closing, stock, training, and ensuring policies are followed. Starting wage is $14.23 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic retail team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact at checkout and assist with daily store operations.
• Oversee the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms for a smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance and policy adherence.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stock room organization, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
