Job summary

Qualifications

• Retail experience in footwear/apparel preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume store leadership in Store Manager’s absence and implement action plans.
• Recruiting, training and evaluating store personnel; guide employees and customers.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and monitor inventory movement.
• Perform general administrative duties and learn Store Manager responsibilities.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold company policies and procedures across manuals.
• Protect assets and financial information; monitor internal controls and fraud risk.
