Job summary

You will assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence, supervise staff, and help with recruiting, training, and evaluating team members, ensuring profitability and smooth store performance.

Qualifications

• Retail environment experience, footwear and athletic apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain exceptional customer service per manuals.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Protect assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls and reporting fraud risks.
