Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform extensive walking, standing, bending.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, stocked store and stockroom per standards.
• Protect company assets and cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines; supervise and train store associates.
• Maintain positive, safe environment with customers and team.
• Keep bathrooms clean and restocked; general store upkeep.
• Other duties as assigned.
