Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role focuses on assisting with daily functions, merchandise organization, and ensuring a clean, well-stocked store environment.

The ideal candidate has high school education and experience in retail management or customer service. This position is part-time and based at the store location, with opportunities to contribute to loss prevention and staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong reading comprehension to interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and communicate store activities.
