Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform cash handling and operate a cash register accurately.
• Strong organization and attention to detail for inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership at the sales floor and registers.
• Open or close the store at least twice weekly and supervise staff as needed.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for employees.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, displays, and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages and markdowns.
• Ensure cashier integrity, deposits, and refunds are handled correctly.
• Assist in store operation during Store Manager absence.
