Dollar General seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, oversee merchandise presentation, and handle deposits while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will also assist with scheduling, training, safety, and policy compliance, and perform stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cashier functions.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking and displays per planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Count tills, deposit money, and ensure cash control and security.
• Assist in store leadership in the Store Manager's absence.
