Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role focuses on daily tasks, leading associates, and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced setting.

You will help with opening/closing, merchandise flow, and adherence to company policies while delivering friendly service to customers and ensuring a safe environment. This is a part-time, on-site position in Irvington, NJ.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; supervise/training of associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
