Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop team capabilities. In this role you will supervise associates, ensure safety and policy compliance, manage merchandise, and support the Store Manager in driving sales and store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, grocery, or drug store store-management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and training staff.
