Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC in Lebanon, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with daily store operations, drive excellent customer service, and support team development.

You will supervise associates, help with merchandise placement, open/close procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies. This is a hands-on role with growth potential in a national retailer.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to read and explain operational directives to staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure fixtures and displays are promotional-ready.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates with the Store Manager.
