Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards and safety policies are followed.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail management or supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping including payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
