Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to open and close the store in the absence of store management, ensuring all systems start up and cash handling procedures are followed. You will handle returns, refunds, voids, drops to the safe, and provide change as needed while maintaining a clean, organized floor and stock room.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Register sales and manage cash, price verifications, and adjustments.
• Assist with inventory counts, displays, resets, and stock rotation to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Oversee backroom operations, vendor deliveries, and backdoor access for deliveries as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and greet customers to offer help and resolve issues.
