Job summary

Rocky’s Ace Hardware is seeking a Team Lead to support store operations and act in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and directing delegated projects to drive performance.

The Team Lead will oversee daily tasks, assist in training the store team, manage inventory and cash handling, and collaborate with management to meet sales and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision experience in a retail environment
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to train and coach store staff for performance
• Assumes responsibilities in manager's absence and ensures store operations

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of the Store Manager/Assistant Manager
• Oversee store team tasks and daily operations
• Assist in training and development of store team
• Oversee inventory, receiving, stocking, and cash handling procedures
• Work with management to achieve sales and productivity goals
• Maintain equipment and fixtures and ensure proper merchandising
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously
• Attend monthly store meetings
• Other duties as assigned by store management
