BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team in California. The role opens and closes the store, supports staff, engages customers, and helps with high-volume periods while ensuring product knowledge and accurate cash handling.

The position emphasizes customer service, loss prevention, assisted training for new employees, and maintaining store standards across floors and back areas. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; available during peak hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services.
• Open the store in the morning and close it at night; support for new employees.
• Assist during high volume periods and train new staff on procedures and product knowledge.
• Restock merchandise, conduct inventory counts, and identify discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions: open/close tills, count cash, prepare deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Enforce age verification policies and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges; monitor sales floor to prevent theft and loss.
• Maintain store cleanliness in sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms.
• Train new employees on store procedures and customer service standards.
