Job summary

Five Below in Panama City, FL is seeking an energetic hourly leader to support store operations and deliver a WOW customer experience. You will supervise associates, train staff, assist with receiving stock, and ensure fast, friendly checkout with excellent service.

As Manager on Duty you will handle opening/closing, security, and daily store operations. You will drive sales, control expenses, and collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising and process improvements to keep guests

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• College experience is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the customer through personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure customer service excellence.
• Assist with receiving and organizing stock for fast placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty handling store operations and staffing.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and security.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and Loss Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks as needed.
