Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker with leadership to step up in the absence of store leadership. You will support plan-o-gram maintenance, provide exemplary customer service, and help maximize store profitability.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, stocking shelves, operating the register, and ensuring a safe, clean shopping environment for customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related training) preferred.
• Relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise following store procedures.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; maintain displays and plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide excellent service.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag items.
• Keep store clean, organized, and secure; monitor cash and security practices.
• Open/close store under supervision; handle refunds and overrides.
