Dollar General is seeking a lead Cashier/Stocker to act in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, delivering exemplary customer service and helping maximize profitability while protecting assets.

You will assist in plan-o-gram maintenance, restock merchandise, operate the cash register and scanner, and help maintain a clean, well-organized store and safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualificações

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Experience with IBM cash registers and POS systems.
• Understanding of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise according to store processes.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, face shelves, and build merchandise displays.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and help locate merchandise.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and bag items.
• Collect payment and give change; maintain a clean front-end.
• Remain vigilant for security and follow SOPs.
